Before you book.
Quick answers to the questions customers are most likely to have.
How long can I keep the totes?
Packages are priced by the week. You can select one to four weeks in the quote form. Longer rentals can be discussed directly with Bayou Move Totes.
Do you deliver and pick up the totes?
Yes. Delivery and pickup are available in our approved Southwest Louisiana service areas. Standard round-trip fees are Crowley $25, Lafayette $35, Jennings $35, Lake Charles $50 and Sulphur $55. The same service-area fee is automatically included in the website quote.
What happens if a tote is lost or damaged?
The customer is responsible for lost, stolen, missing, destroyed, or excessively damaged rental equipment while it is in the customer's possession. Repair or replacement charges may apply.
Can I move out of state with the totes?
Yes, but standard rentals are round-trip rentals. If your move ends outside our service area, you must return the equipment to our approved service area unless a separate written long-distance retrieval arrangement is approved.
Do I need to clean the totes before pickup?
Normal cleaning is included. Please return the totes free of trash and personal items. Extra cleaning charges may apply for excessive dirt, grease, chemicals, strong odors, pests, bodily fluids, or similar contamination.
How much notice should I give?
Earlier is better, especially around weekends and busy moving dates. A quote request does not guarantee inventory until Bayou Move Totes confirms availability.
What areas do you serve?
Our core service areas are Crowley, Lafayette, Jennings, Lake Charles and Sulphur. Nearby Southwest Louisiana locations may be considered by request.
